FAQs

How long are the cruises?

Our cruises range from 1.5 to 2 hours cruises depending on the type of cruise you select.

What should I bring?

You should bring the beverages and/or food of your choice. Always bring a smile as this is one of the most photographed boats on the water! We supply the captain, cooler, & ice.

Will I be required to show ID?

Yes, those guests intending to consume alcohol during their cruise will be required to show valid identification to the captain verifying that they are 21 years of age or older. No exceptions!

What about restrooms?

Our tikis are NOT equipped with restrooms, as is the case with most small boats. We encourage you to ‘Liki Before You Tiki’ & use the restroom before leaving the dock. Depending on weather and conditions, it is usually possible for the Tiki to stop at a relatively secluded beach where you can splash in the surf or explore some of the secluded natural wooded areas.

Can we bring pets?

Sorry, only shoulder parrots are acceptable. Leave the 4-legged furry friends at home.

How fast does the tiki boat go?

The tiki boat has a cruising speed of around 4 to 6 mph.  We don’t take you to a destination, we are the destination!

Who is my captain?

All of our captains have been vetted, trained, and certified thru the U.S. coast guard requirements. All our captains have been chosen based on their experience with boating, their knowledge of the area and local waters, and their ability to have fun.

Should we tip the captain?

Yes, please tip your captain, they are awesome. Our captains work hard to make sure your Tiki cruise is as safe and enjoyable as possible. Please Tip your captain the same (%) as you would a restaurant server.

Can I purchase a Gift Card?

Yes! Give the gift of SMILES! Click HERE to order.

How many people can I bring?

We have 1 tiki boat. It holds 6 people. Yes that includes children. Coastguard regulations limit us to 6 souls on board, period, no excepions.

For parties larger than 6, you may book 2 cruises back to back, or split a single cruise in half (45 minutes). Your party can take turns while half your group hangs out at Provision Company Restaurant, and the other half cruises; then switch.

Can we play music onboard?

Yes, we do have bluetooth-capable Kicker radio and speaker systems that can sync to your phone and choice of music.

Are children allowed?

Yes. All ages are welcome and kids love the tiki boat. Children 12 and under are required to wear a life jacket. We have lifejackets on board but you are welcome to bring your own. There are no discounts for children.

Do your boats operate in the rain?

Yes, we do operate in the rain as the tiki boats are covered with a thatch roof. However, the captain can decide at any time to cancel due to unsafe conditions.

What are your cancellation and inclement weather policies?

Cancellations / Reschedules made with at least 24 hours notice will be offered a full refund. Cancellations / Reschedules made with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical, or behavioral issues. If your tour is cancelled, you will have the opportunity to reschedule. If that is not possible you will be given a full refund. Tour cancelations due to behavioral or alcohol related issues will not be refunded.

Can we bring decorations for a party?

We do allow temporary decorations for a full boat party (private cruise) and they must be taped in place. Please no staples or other fasteners! All tape and decorations must be removed at the end of the cruise.

Should we eat at Provision Company Restaurant before or after the cruise?

Yes. You should. It’s delicious. A local legend of a place. Check them out here. Eat before or after your cruise, or take your food on the boat.
